CEITEC Cluster – bioinformatics consists of firms and research institutions focusing on bioinformatics and related fields. The main objective of cluster is to foster mutual collaboration in order to increase competitive advantage of firms. CEITEC Cluster - bioinformatics was established as an association of legal entities in 2006.

Cluster members are: ANF Data spol. s r.o., BioVendor - Laboratorní medicína a.s., Camea, spol. s r.o. , ECO - Management, s.r.o., Enantis s.r.o., Elisabeth Pharmacon, spol. s r.o., Favea, spol.s r.o., FEI Czech republic s.r.o., Jihomoravské centrum mezinárodní mobility z.s.p.o., MAC, spol. s r.o., Masaryk University, Tescan, s.r.o., Textilní zkušební ústav s.p. a Výzkumný ústav pletařský, a.s. Biophysical institute Academy of Science CR and Brno Technical University are partner organisations.

The mission of the cluster is to act as a platform fostering bioinformatics development and supporting cooperation between research and commerce spheres in the region.
